National Energy Administration: New Energy Demonstration City (Industrial Zone) Development Planning
The energy strategy
of China has converted from guaranteeing supply to controlling the total amount
of energy consumption. Besides increasing the development of new energy is the
first step in energy structure adjustment. According to “ The 12th Five-Year Plan for Renewable Energy Development” (Draft for Soliciting Opinions), China will build a micro-grid
demonstration area in areas where solar and wind power predominate. At the same
time, it will also promote the construction of 100 new energy demonstration
cities and 1,000 demonstration parks. In order to implement the National 12th
Five-Year Plan for Renewable Energy, increase the proportion of clean energy in
cities, and promote the development goal of a resource-saving and
environment-friendly society, the National Energy Administration will organize
the application of new energy demonstration cities and industrial parks. EED
has compiled the "New Energy Demonstration City Construction Plan"
for Zhangzhou City, Guangxi Province, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, Taizhou
City, Zhejiang Province, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, Changning City, Hunan
Province, Tianjin Eco-city Industrial Park, etc., to guide the development and
construction of new energy demonstration cities.
